Mechanical Field Service Engineer - Heavy Duty/Aero Gas Turbine Specialist

We support the on-site installation, maintenance and planning of our industry-leading products for our global customers.
Take ownership for customer installations and maintenance
As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers. Leading the installation and maintenance activities, you will work with customers to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe and compliant installations. You will be the onsite expert, continually developing your knowledge and skills to deliver innovative solutions for customers.
As a Mechanical Field Service Engineer - Heavy Duty / Aero Gas Turbine Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labour to ensure safety, compliance and quality
- Overseeing, overhaul, troubleshooting and commissioning of Gas Turbine products at customer sites
- Preparing and updating technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams
- Ensuring internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed and completed according to company standards

Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Hold a Technical Diploma
- Be ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment
- Have experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar)
- Display a solid customer service-orientation mindset, experienced leading customers through tough decisions
- Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding
- Have excellent command and understanding of verbal and written English and Italian and hold an EU Passport

For Italy, the initial pay range for this position will be:
- Field Specialist II EUR 35,924.92 to 52,800
- Field Specialist III EUR 35,924.92 to 57,200
- Filed Specialist IV EUR 38,603.44 to 62,700
The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
