👤 Reporting to: Workshop Manager
🔨 What You’ll Be Doing
- Construct and assemble mechanical equipment using components bought in and made in-house.
- Carry out maintenance activities (repairing, fault-finding, commissioning) on mechanical equipment both in the Doncaster Workshop and on UK & International customer sites.
- Understand and work to mechanical system blueprints.
- Report daily activities.
- Inspect and measure completed works.
- Organise equipment and plant for your tasks.

🧩 What We’re Looking For
- Time‑served apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- 5 – 10 years’ experience in a similar role
- Background in heavy engineering (essential) and bulk material handling (desirable)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong communication and time‑management skills
- A positive, proactive attitude and pride in your work
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to work effectively in a small, fast‑paced, cross‑functional team
- Willingness to visit customer sites globally, as/when required (essential)
