Mechanical Fitter
Long term contract till December 2027
Monday to Fridays Days 7.30am to 3.30pm (40 hour week)
We're on the lookout for a Mechanical Fitter with real hands-on skill. If you've got experience in vehicle/Bogie/Rail overhauls, stripping and rebuilding.
Mechanical Fitter Role
- Full mechanical Fitting experience
- Experience in large fitting environments, coach/vehicle builds
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
- Using hand and power tools for cutting, folding, and fitting
- Quality checking builds for alignment and accuracy
- Following Health & Safety procedures and maintaining a safe workspace

What You'll Need as the Mechanical Fitter
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a fast-paced or technical environment
- Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Confident with a wide range of hand and power tools
- Problem-solver with a sharp eye for detail
- Experience in vehicle fitting
- Background in Aviation, Military, Marine, or similar sectors is an advantage
- Ability to read basic electrical schematics is a bonus

- Long term contract
- PAYE £20.05ph
- Umbrella £27.34
