Full-Time Role: Mechanical Fitter – Electric Motors

Due to increasing demand, BAWCo would like to present you with an opportunity to join one of the largest and best-established independent electric motor repair companies in the north of England.

We are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated individual to join our experienced and innovative team.

Requirements

  • Experience in an industrial environment (engineering, fitting, maintenance, etc.).
  • Competent in using hand tools and general workshop equipment.
  • Ability to dismantle and reassemble machinery (electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, etc.).
  • Engineering level 2, or higher, qualification is desirable.
  • Willingness to accept instruction, direction and training.
  • Conscientious, organised and tidy work ethic.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations

Job Role

  • Dismantling electric motors, gearboxes and pumps.
  • Cleaning parts, fitting bearings, repairing, and overhauling motors.
  • Reassembly of equipment.
  • Working alongside skilled engineers to assist as required.
  • Stock modifications.

Job Details and Benefits

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Pay: up to £16.95 per hour (dependent on experience and skill level)
  • Annual Leave: 28 days including bank holidays
