About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter with a valid Lift Supervisor certification to join a busy and professional industrial project in North Wales.
Working within a large-scale manufacturing and engineering environment, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical fitting and installation activities while supervising lifting operations to ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This role offers the opportunity to work as part of a skilled team on a well-established site with a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation work.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and fault finding as required.
- Supervise lifting operations in line with approved lift plans and site procedures.
- Coordinate with crane operators, slingers, signallers, and other site personnel.
- Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Complete relevant documentation and inspection records.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.

Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or construction environment.
- Valid Lift Supervisor certification (CPCS, NPORS, or equivalent).
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of mechanical installation and fitting techniques.
- Excellent health and safety awareness.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable
- Experience working in large-scale manufacturing facilities.
- Additional lifting, rigging, or mechanical qualifications.
- IPAF, MEWP, or other relevant site certifications.
