About the role

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will ensure all PPM's and reactive works are delivered in a timely manner on a maintenance.

Our client is currently looking for a recruit to join their current team, below are the job details for your reference: You can also ask our friendly recruitment team for any questions you may have about the role, between 09.00am till 17.00pm Monday to Friday.

Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all PPM's and reactive works are delivered in a timely manner on a maintenance scheme in line with the SFG-20 on steam systems.
  • To undertake training to become mechanical nominated for the site.
  • To report all incidents, accidents and near misses including non-compliant or unsafe conditions at the earliest opportunity.
  • To coach, mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential.

Other stuff we’re potentially looking for:

  • Must have NVQ Level 3 in mechanical maintenance and install or equivalent.
  • Good general knowledge of facilities services, operational practices.
  • Sound understanding of nuclear site procedures and practices.
