Mechanical Fitter

£35,000 - £45,000 (£42,000 - £50,000 OTE) + Bonus + Overtime + Progression

Are you a Mechanical/Electrical fitter or a Mechanical fitter looking to develop some basic wiring skills with a company that will invest in your development through specialist training, upskilling you, offering multiple progression pathways? Whilst still providing you with access to regular overtime to boost your income?

On offer is the opportunity to join a market-leading engineering business. They manufacture, sell, hire, and maintain bespoke engineering storage equipment and more. They are looking to grow their team, supporting you with training in bespoke equipment to help you develop your career further, either electrically or mechanically.

In this workshop based position, you will:

  • Assemble and install hardware to steel fabrications including wiring and terminating single- and three-phase systems, connecting pumps, motors, control panels, and lighting circuits
  • Carry out pressure tests, electrical continuity checks, fault finding and final inspections

This role would suit someone with a background in:

  • Plumbing
  • Pneumatics
  • Hydraulics
  • Pipe bending
  • Control panels
  • Pumps or similar
