Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
A Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is required across North East and South East London to deliver plumbing and mechanical maintenance across a mobile facilities contract. The role covers reactive repairs, water hygiene PPM and HVAC servicing across multiple operational sites.

You'll manage your own workload, complete technical reporting and identify remedial and lifecycle requirements while maintaining plumbing and mechanical systems to agreed standards.
The Role
As The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, You'll
- Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures and associated systems to current standards.
- Complete water hygiene PPM in line with SFG20 requirements.
- Commission and service HVAC equipment across the contract.
- Complete quoted repairs and light installation work on gas equipment.
- Identify remedial works and arrange quotations for jobs valued above £500.
- Produce technical reports, worksheets and recommendations for additional or lifecycle works.
- Follow site risk assessments, method statements and health and safety procedures.

About You
To be successful as the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll have:
- Level 2 and Level 3 NVQs in Plumbing.
- L8, IPAF And PASMA Qualifications.
- An understanding of SFG20 and delivering maintenance within agreed timescales.
- General mechanical and electrical competence within a multi-skilled environment.
- A mechanical or electrical NVQ supporting gas qualifications would be advantageous.
- Additional relevant qualifications or emergency lighting knowledge would be beneficial.
