Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Buckinghamshire – £48,000

Amersham & High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Salary:
£48,000 per annum
Hours:
Monday to Friday (08:00-17:00) + 1-in-5 Call-Out
About The Role
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider, working across two buildings in Buckinghamshire.
You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team, delivering planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across building plant and services within a commercial environment. Your week will be split 75/25 between both buildings, with occasional support required at the other site during the working day.

Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
- Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical building plant and services.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Carry out servicing, fault-finding and remedial repairs on mechanical systems.
- Assist with commissioning and maintenance of mechanical plant and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site documentation.
Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
- City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience in a commercial, healthcare or similar building environment.
- Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills.
- Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
