Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £35,550 + Pension + Benefits
Shift Pattern: Days Based Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
Location: Thirsk

The Company
My client is one of Europe's leading manufacturers within the field of food and FMCG products and associated processes. The group is a well-established producer in the European markets and has been established for over 40 years. The site in North Yorkshire is looking to expand due to further investment within this secure organization.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience with Packaging/FMCG/Food Machinery
- Understanding of PPM Systems
The Role
You will have served a minimum of a full electrical or mechanical apprenticeship in engineering, though if you have packaging experience with a good multi-skilled pedigree, this is a bonus.

You will also have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, working on conveyors, inverters, drives, sensors, plastics or insulation machines, packaging machines, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for all production equipment including fault finding on PLC controlled equipment. There is a huge scope and variety on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
