Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sheffield
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £37,500-£38,500 DOE

The Role
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repair of a wide range of industrial plant and equipment across our UK operations.
You will work as part of a proactive maintenance team, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on industrial plant and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently.
- Install, service and overhaul mechanical equipment.
- Assist with equipment improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Travel to other UK sites when required.

Requirements
- Significant experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial environment.
- Strong welding and fabrication skills.
- Experience working with hydraulic systems.
- Experience maintaining heavy industrial equipment.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.

Package Details
- Hours: Monday to Friday
- Week 1: 07:30 – 16:30 (42.5 hours)
- Week 2: 07:00 – 16:00 (42.5 hours)
