Mechanical Maintenance Fitter

Salary: £48,000 + Pension + Overtime

Location: Bishop Auckland
Shift Pattern: Panama Shift, Days and Nights 6.30 - 6.00
11.5 hour shifts 2 weeks of day shifts followed by 2 weeks of nights.

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction based products. The company is extremely well established with over 150 years of manufacturing experience and has a global reputation which is second to none in their marketplace. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit an experienced electrical engineer.

The Role

The company require an engineer who can work to manage PPM schedules, contractors, working a continental night shift pattern. The candidate will have a minimum of a time served apprenticeship and with engineering fault finding skills. In addition to this, you will have a good working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, drive chain fault finding, bearing fitting & alignment, welding and fabrication. You will be involved in a variety of projects on site and be the focus from a mechanical point of view process improvement on site. Ongoing training and support within this highly focused group will give the right candidate an opportunity to progress into larger roles within this long-standing group.
