The job you'll do:
- Work safely, following site rules and health and safety legislation.
- Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and minimise production downtime.
- Diagnose faults, maintain and repair plant and equipment.
- Estimate job completion times and understand the impact of delays.
- Report breakdown causes and equipment faults.
- Ensure high-quality work adhering to standards.
- Assist in developing PPM schedules and moving/installing equipment.
- Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities.
- Perform tasks as directed by the Shift Manager/Engineering Manager.
- Understand engineering and technical information.

About you:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above in Mechanical Maintenance or similar (HNC is desirable)
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering environment
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical information.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills at all levels.
