Description

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical plant and production equipment, including pumps, pipework, gearboxes, compressors, and rotating machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment faults to maximise reliability, performance, and uptime.
  • Support electrical and controls-related maintenance activities where required.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams during maintenance, shutdown, and improvement activities.
  • Assist with fault investigations and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and site standards.

Experience

  • Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Maintenance experience within an industrial, manufacturing, or process environment.
  • Strong mechanical skills with some exposure to electrical systems.
  • Experience working within safety-critical or highly regulated environments.
  • Good fault-finding, problem-solving, and risk awareness skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
