Mobile Mechanical Engineer
Field Based Covering Various Sites Across The Midlands & North of The UK.

To carry out plumbing and mechanical maintenance on the north portfolio of contracts, this ranges from PPM, reactive works, remedial works and minor works installs. As the face of Bellrock we want an outgoing person to work with our customers to deliver a high standard of works, with a responsible Health and Safety culture.

And as a Mechanical Mobile Engineer with Bellrock, you’ll do it by…
- Carry out works to a high standard.
- Carry out all duties to the highest Health and Safety standards.
- Ensure all PPE is worn correctly and kept in good order.
- Communicate effectively with technical operations team.
- Carry out all compliance certification required for the role.
- Build a good working relationship with both the office and engineering teams.
- Form part of a call-out rota (1-10).
- To keep your van, tools and uniform clean and in good working order.
Internal & External Customer Relations
- Always uphold the company’s professional image.
- Foster strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders through effective communication.
- Efficiently report any delays or issues to Schedulers, Supervisors and Managers.
- Resolve client-related concerns or disputes with a purposeful approach.
- Ensure workspaces are always kept clean and orderly.

Health & Safety
- Work inline with the companies Safe System of Work.
- Adhere to Method statement, ensuring POWRA in place at all times.
- Conduct work in a safe and diligent manner adhering to company policies, procedures, risk & method statements.
- Assist in monitoring practices and routines to ensure compliance with relevant SHE legislation and regulations.
- Report any H&S issues, concerns, bad practice, or non-conformance to Management.
- Undertake robust site-specific risk assessments.
What does it take?
If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Mechanical Mobile Engineer, you’ll need…
- The successful candidate will be an experienced mechanical engineer and will ideally have worked in the commercial and hospitality sectors.
- Full understanding of a workforce management (CAFM) system via a PDA tablet.
- Wide knowledge on Health & Safety.
- Previous within the FM//Building Services sector.
- Previous experience with digital workplace management CAFM systems.
- Previous experience of SFG20 or other recognised maintenance standards.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office package products.
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing Installations (or equivalent) - Desirable
- Health & Safety qualification (IOSH)- Desirable
- G3 Unvented Qualification- Desirable
- Builds good working relationship with internal teams and external service providers.
- Ability to work within the team and on individual basis with minimum supervision.
- Prioritises own workload.
- Experienced in using CAFM systems.
- Understanding of Statutory Requirements.
- Sound technical knowledge.
- Ability to understand, implement and challenge.

Working arrangements
We embrace smarter working practices which offer our employees the opportunity to work their hours flexibly and remotely where their roles and business needs allow. In this role, the successful candidate would be required to work from the various sites around the Midlands & North of the UK. Working hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm.
