Job Description

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with experience in highly regulated industries looking to move beyond pure design engineering?

We're seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to support the delivery of pressure systems compliance and structural integrity requirements on a major engineering programme. This is a technically focused coordination role, acting as the link between engineering teams, suppliers, regulators, and project stakeholders to ensure pressure equipment remains compliant throughout its lifecycle.

You'll be responsible for coordinating compliance activities, managing technical queries, and ensuring pressure systems and structural integrity requirements are delivered in line with applicable codes, standards, and safety case requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of pressure systems compliance requirements across major projects.
  • Coordinating technical activities to ensure pressure equipment remains compliant with relevant regulations and engineering standards.
  • Managing interfaces between engineering teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
  • Supporting structural integrity and pressure systems safety case requirements.
  • Reviewing and coordinating technical documentation and engineering deliverables.
  • Managing technical queries and compliance-related actions through to resolution.
  • Supporting contract delivery and ensuring suppliers meet project requirements.
  • Monitoring compliance activities and escalating risks where required.
  • Working closely with subject matter experts to ensure industry codes and standards are correctly applied.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
