Mechanical Project Engineer Opportunity
A specialist utilities and infrastructure contractor with a huge presence across the UK and Ireland is actively seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer for a large scale wastewater upgrade project in the West Lancashire region.
This is a long term freelance role, starting in December with a minimum of 18 months on the contract. However, given their pipeline in the area they are very open to a temp to perm idea for the right candidate.

Mechanical Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Management of all day-to-day site operations
- Familiarity with and management of Project Schedule in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, consulting Engineer and Client requirements
- Management of all costs associated with your package
- Attendance at Site Meetings, Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning Meetings and Handover Meetings
- Maintain weekly project diary
- Liaise with subcontractors

Mechanical Engineer Key Requirements:
- Relevant Building Services qualifications
- 4-7 years’ experience in a mechanical engineering role
- Excellent team working, organisational and planning skills
- Design experience
- Travel flexibility
- Career ambitious
