Mechanical Project Engineer

We're looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join our Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme team based in Thames Valley, looking after sites in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.

Location: Thames Valley - Stewkley, Buckinghamshire and Forest Hill, Oxfordshire

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

We're looking for a Mechanically biased Project Engineer to work within our Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme. You'll work alongside an Electrical Project Engineer to ensure that these MEICA focused projects are delivered in line with Kier's and Thames Water's KPIs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is quality focused and able to manage the supply chain. Kier are a strategic partner to Thames Water for AMP7 and AMP8 on Capital Frameworks across the Thames Water supply and treatment regions.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, You'll Be Working Within The Wastewater Asset Assurance Programme Team, Supporting Them In Delivering Design And Build Services For New And Existing Infrastructure And Non-infrastructure Assets. Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Engaging with the workforce on health, safety and wellbeing, leading by example to promote a positive culture

What are we looking for?

This role of Mechanical Project Engineer is great for you if:

  • You hold a Full driving licence
  • You have experience in the Water Industry
  • You're BEng/ONC/HNC/BTEC qualified as a Mechanical engineer
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement
  • You hold a relevant CSCS card and SSSTS, Confined Spaces qualifications
