Mechanical Project Manager – Central London
I’m working with a leading M&E contractor seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major commercial shell-and-core development in Central London.
The successful candidate will take full ownership of the mechanical package, including:
- Managing the project from design coordination and procurement through installation, commissioning, and handover
- Leading mechanical site teams, supervisors, and specialist subcontractors
- Managing programme, labour, materials, plant, and project resources
- Overseeing HVAC, public health, pipework, plantroom, and riser installations
- Coordinating mechanical services with electrical, structural, and architectural packages
- Monitoring progress, quality, health and safety, costs, and change control
- Managing client, consultant, and main-contractor relationships
- Driving testing, commissioning, snagging, and project close-out

What I’m looking for:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale commercial mechanical projects
- Strong shell-and-core and major plant experience
- Previous experience working for an established M&E contractor
- Excellent technical, commercial, and programme-management knowledge
- A demonstrable record of delivering mechanical packages safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
