Location: Dundee Emtec Building Services is strengthening its delivery leadership team as we mobilise new projects and build on a strong, secured pipeline of work across the region. As part of this continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join us in Dundee. This is a key role where you’ll take full ownership of mechanical projects from pre-construction through to handover. You'll be leading site teams, developing strong client relationships, and playing an active role in shaping our expanding presence in the area. Emtec Building Services is a leading M&E contractor delivering end-to-end mechanical and electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and public sector projects, from early design and pre-construction through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing support. The Role As Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient, and successful delivery of Mechanical packages across a range of commercial construction projects, while supporting the development of your teams and identifying opportunities to grow the business. What You’ll Be Doing Leading site and project teams, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and quality standards. Managing project budgets, reporting, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Overseeing variations and tendering additional works where required. Providing technical support to clients and site teams throughout the project lifecycle. Mentoring and developing your team, driving performance and encouraging professional growth. Building strong client relationships that lead to repeat business and long-term partnerships. Supporting commercial, design, and delivery coordination across contracts. What You'll Bring Solid experience within commercial HVAC, ideally across both construction and fit-out environments. Proven track record in M&E project management, delivering projects from start to finish Strong commercial awareness with a good understanding of design, financial control, and contract delivery Confident leadership style, with the ability to manage teams and build strong working relationships Highly organised with excellent communication skills A proactive, client-focused approach and a genuine pride in delivering quality work Qualifications & Requirements HND in Building Services (or equivalent) is desirable SMSTS Full UK Driving Licence What's In It for You Attractive Salary Package: Based on skills and experience Generous Holidays: 33 days of holiday (inclusive of public holidays), increasing with length of service.
