An experienced Mechanical Project Manager is required to join a leading M&E contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in West London.
This position will take responsibility for the management and delivery of mechanical packages, working closely with the site construction team, commercial department, engineering team, and client.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical packages from planning and procurement through to installation, commissioning, and handover
- Coordinate Construction Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and specialist suppliers
- Manage project programme, progress, and key delivery milestones
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical information
- Work closely with commercial teams to monitor project costs, variations, and procurement
- Manage subcontractor performance and package delivery
- Lead progress and coordination meetings
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate solutions
- Ensure mechanical works meet required quality and technical standards
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, and other project disciplines
- Oversee commissioning, snagging, O&M information, and project close-out
- Maintain strong relationships with the client and wider project team
- Ensure health & safety requirements are maintained throughout delivery

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within M&E/building services
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and installations
- Experience delivering large or technically complex mechanical packages
- Commercial awareness and experience managing subcontractor packages
- Strong programme and project management capabilities
- Experience managing projects through commissioning and handover
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams within a demanding construction environment
- Major infrastructure, rail, tunnelling, or similarly complex project experience would be advantageous
