Mechanical Project Manager

Bristol | South & South West
Up to £65,000 + Company Vehicle / Car Allowance
Full Time | Permanent

We’re working with an established and growing M&E contractor looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their Bristol-based team.

You’ll take responsibility for the delivery of mechanical building services projects, predominantly across healthcare, education and commercial environments.

The role offers plenty of autonomy and will involve a mixture of office and site-based working, managing projects across the South and South West from initial planning through to completion.

The Role

  • Manage mechanical projects from pre-construction through to handover.
  • Develop project programmes, budgets and resource plans.
  • Manage mechanical installation, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, engineers and suppliers.
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor programme, costs, quality and overall project performance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant health & safety requirements.
  • Take overall responsibility for the performance of your project teams.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background in mechanical building services and plumbing projects.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Experience managing multiple mechanical projects
  • A background within an M&E, Building Services or Mechanical contractor.
  • Experience delivering healthcare, education, commercial or similar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing installations.
  • Good commercial awareness and experience managing project budgets.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
  • Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant health & safety requirements.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
