Mechanical Project Manager – Commercial Fit Out (CAT A & B)
£75,000-£85,000
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing and ambitious contractor specialising in commercial fit out projects across London. This role will suit someone who enjoys managing multiple fast-moving projects and wants to be part of a business that is scaling up, offering genuine long-term progression opportunities.
The Role
You will take responsibility for 2–3 concurrent commercial CAT A & CAT B fit out projects, with a combined mechanical value of around £1-10 million. Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main client-facing point of contact for mechanical delivery
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure programme, quality, and H&S compliance
- Monitor costs, variations, valuations, and reporting in conjunction with the commercial team
- Oversee commissioning, O&M manuals, and final account processes
- Support business growth by building strong client and supply chain relationships
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering mechanical packages on commercial fit out projects (CAT A / CAT B)
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid understanding of design & build processes, programme management, and commercial control
