Mechanical Project Manager - Central London

Salary & benefits - £70,000 to £80,000 (negotiable)

Mechanical Site Manager or Project Manager? You’re already delivering projects. But what if you had the opportunity to take complete ownership of them—from the first conversation with the client through to final handover?

This is an opportunity to join an established M&E contractor where quality, relationships and delivery genuinely matter.

You’ll lead project delivery of mechanical packages valued between £2m–£3m across commercial, residential and mixed-use developments throughout London including renowned landmark hotels and much more.

The Role

As an Mechanical Project Manager, you'll take the lead on mechanical contracts from planning through completion, with the autonomy to make decisions, lead teams and influence how projects are delivered.

  • Managing mechanical projects from inception through to handover.
  • Controlling programme, budget, procurement and resources.
  • Leading site teams, supervisors and specialist subcontractors.
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Identifying risks early and putting solutions in place before they become problems.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of Health & Safety and project compliance.
  • Embracing modern construction methods and digital technology e.g. Procore, BIM and MS Project.
  • Reviewing project performance and driving continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

  • Experienced in trades having worked your way up from Mechanical Apprentice.
  • A proven track record delivering mechanical projects within building services, M&E or construction.
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness.
  • Experience leading teams and managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • A full clean driving licence, SMSTS, CSCS and Manual Handling certification.
