Mechanical Project Manager | Leicestershire | Up to £85,000 + Travel
I'm currently partnering with a well-established £50M+ turnover M&E contractor who have secured a flagship new build project in Leicestershire. With a project valuation of £10M+, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join the team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the mechanical package on a major, technically challenging project, working from pre-construction through to commissioning and final handover. You'll play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of the mechanical package from inception to completion.
- Manage mechanical subcontractors and site teams.
- Oversee procurement, programme management and resource planning.
- Coordinate design development and resolve technical issues.
- Work closely with the commercial team to monitor budgets, variations and project performance.
- Ensure compliance with H&S legislation, QA procedures and client specifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the client, consultants and wider project team.
- Lead commissioning activities and support a successful project handover.

What we're looking for:
- Proven experience delivering mechanical building services packages on major construction projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, public health and mechanical installations.
- Experience managing programmes, subcontractors and project budgets.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to drive projects to successful completion.

💷 MEP Value: £10M+
📅 Programme: 80 Weeks
Package:
💰 Up to £85,000 (PAYE)
💷 Or up to £450 per day
🚗 Travel package included
