Mechanical Project Manager – London

£80,000–£90,000 + Excellent Package

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join an award-winning, leading MEP contractor based in London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected business with an outstanding reputation for delivering some of the capital’s most prestigious and technically challenging MEP projects.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of major mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of mechanical projects from inception through to completion.
  • Take overall responsibility for programme, budget, quality and delivery.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Manage client and consultant relationships.
  • Coordinate mechanical design, procurement and installation activities.
  • Monitor project progress, costs and commercial performance.
  • Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with health & safety requirements.
  • Attend and lead project meetings with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with commercial and pre-construction teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Drive high standards of quality, safety and workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.

About You

  • Proven experience managing mechanical projects within an MEP contractor.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services.
  • Experience managing projects from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project teams.
  • A track record of delivering projects safely, on time and to a high standard.
  • The ambition to progress within a market-leading organisation.
