An established and reputable MEP Contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team, working on commercial projects across Central London.
The company has been established for over 20 years, has a turnover of approximately £25m, and specialises in delivering high-quality commercial CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects.
Projects are predominantly based in Central London, with typical MEP values ranging from £1m to £7m.
The Role
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the mechanical package from commencement through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, to budget and to the required quality standards.
You will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role Will Include
- Managing mechanical packages on commercial CAT A & CAT B fit-out projects.
- Managing mechanical subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
- Coordinating with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
- Managing programme, quality, health & safety and project delivery.
- Monitoring progress and resolving technical and project issues.
- Managing labour, materials and project resources.
- Working closely with the commercial team.
- Attending project meetings and providing regular project updates.
- Managing testing, commissioning and handover.
Requirements
The successful Mechanical Project Manager will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager working for an MEP / Building Services Contractor.
- Strong experience delivering commercial CAT A and/or CAT B fit-out projects.
- Experience managing mechanical packages valued between £1m and £7m.
- SMSTS qualification.
- A relevant mechanical qualification, such as City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC, HND or Degree.
- Qualifications in Plumbing, Pipefitting, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Strong understanding of mechanical building services and MEP project delivery.
- Excellent communication, organisational and project management skills.
