Job Details
This role works days 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday. You will be required to work 1 weekend in approx 10 as Duty Manager (8am-12 noon on Sat/Sun) for which you will receive a day off in lieu. You will also benefit from 25 days annual leave plus 8 statutory bank holidays. As we are a manufacturing site, there will also be an expectation of your availability during the Annual Summer and Christmas shutdown periods when the site benefits from machine availability for larger projects to be implemented.

Responsibilities
Job Duties
- Lead mechanical engineering projects
- Develop engineering projects with key site stakeholders
- Assist the project manager in the site wide projects and budget control.

Responsibilities
- Safe and controlled project management of set projects
- Able to lead a project with urgency when required to achieve deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum HNC/HND in engineering or equivalent experience which demonstrates capability
- 5 years experience working in a Technical or Engineering Role
- Pulp & paper or similar heavy industry background is preferred.
- Ability to self-drive projects
- Excellent IT skills
- Languages an advantage
- Project Management Skills
- Managing teams such as contractors.
