Mechanical Sales Executive

Central Scotland & North East Scotland

£35,000 basic + uncapped monthly bonus
Company Vehicle provided

Work from home and out on site visiting customers across Scotland

Realistic OTE c. £50,000 + company vehicle

Our client is an award-winning supplier to the welding, fabrication, manufacturing and engineering sectors.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for a mechanically minded Technical Sales Executive to manage and develop an established customer base across Central Scotland and the North East.

The Role

  • Manage and grow an established customer territory.
  • Develop new business through regular customer visits and proactive sales activity.
  • Visit workshops, fabrication facilities and manufacturing sites.
  • Understand customers’ requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
  • Prepare quotations and manage opportunities through to completion.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and a strong sales pipeline.

About You

  • Mechanically or technically minded, with knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, fabrication or industrial environments.
  • Able to communicate credibly with engineers, workshop teams and business owners.
  • Previous field sales, account management or business development experience.
  • Commercially focused, self-motivated and comfortable managing your own territory.
  • Full UK driving licence and willing to travel throughout Central and North East Scotland.

Experience within welding, industrial equipment, engineering consumables, machinery or technical products would be advantageous, although full product training will be provided.
