Site Manager

This challenging and exciting opportunity requires an individual with a good technical background and demonstrable experience in taking the responsibility for overseeing engineering-based sites and installations.

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager/Supervisor from the mechanical engineering, industrial, or fabrication sectors. An engineering trade qualification is essential. The role is working 42 hours per week with some overseas travel required. A full driving license is also essential.

Due to sustained growth, a significant forward order workload, and a continued commitment to be at the forefront of the industry, our client is now searching for a talented and motivated Site Manager. The successful candidate will have the day-to-day responsibility for the safe, timely, and profitable delivery of a wide variety of sites and installations. This will sometimes include managing site-based teams, and resolving any technical, operational, and commercial issues as required.

The Role

  • Oversee the activities of the designated site installations and teams, providing guidance, control, and structure to the decision-making processes.
  • Ensure the resources available on site are managed to achieve the least cost option to satisfy project objectives.
  • To oversee the installation phase of projects, working closely and liaising with site personnel, customer, suppliers, sub-contractors, and other internal departments.
  • Ensure sites and installation activities are managed in a manner that provides budgetary control of resources to increase the department's performance.
  • Assist with the preparation of RAMS, lift/crane plans, and HSEQ documents to ensure compliance with current regulations and legislations.
  • Assist in site audits, inspections, surveys, pre-site visits, and meetings for installation aspects of all projects on behalf of the company.
  • Ensure all installations are planned and executed in accordance with operating policy, while maintaining the professional and progressive image of the company wherever possible.
  • Work under deadline pressures in an efficient, composed, and calm manner.
  • Help to manage suppliers and sub-contractors to improve safety, performance, and profit.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
