We are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to join our Infrastructure team, delivering AMP8 water and wastewater projects across multiple sites.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team delivering a substantial programme of treatment works schemes, ranging from capital maintenance projects to complex multi-disciplinary upgrades. Typically valued between £2m and £15m, projects will involve civil, mechanical, electrical and ICA works within live operational environments.

Working closely with site teams, subcontractors and designers, you will supervise the safe and efficient delivery of mechanical installation works, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, asset standards and programme requirements.

Key Duties

  • Supervise mechanical installation activities, providing strong safety, health, wellbeing and environmental leadership and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
  • Plan and coordinate site activities, including pre-work surveys, Safe Systems of Work, Toolbox Talks and five-week look-ahead planning, working closely with civil and electrical teams.
  • Maintain accurate site and quality records, including inspections, ITPs, testing records, as-built information, site diaries, labour returns and allocation sheets.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors and other stakeholders, supporting commissioning and handover activities.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, promote best practice and continuous improvement, and support the use of digital tools and Lean Construction principles.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
