A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor in Kent for an initial 4-month contract, with the potential for extension. You'll lead a small engineering team and oversee planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across a secure estate.
The Role
As The Mechanical Supervisor, You’ll
- Supervise day-to-day mechanical maintenance operations.
- Lead and allocate workloads to engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Plan and coordinate PPM and reactive maintenance activities.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of HVAC and mechanical systems.
- Support equipment including AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, extract systems, chillers, boilers, and pumps.
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standard.
- Support contractors and ensure maintenance priorities are effectively managed.

What To Bring
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical/Plumbing as a minimum.
- Previous experience within Facilities Management and Maintenance.
- Experience supervising or managing a small team of engineers.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services and HVAC systems.
- Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- The ability to manage planned and reactive workloads within a busy environment.
