Mechanical Supervisor Boiler Replacement
Location: Central Birmingham
Duration: 12 Weeks
Type: Freelance / Contract
Start: ASAP
Rate: £300 per day
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee a 12-week commercial project in Central Birmingham.
The project involves the replacement of end-of-life commercial boilers, including the removal of existing equipment and installation of new boilers and associated mechanical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical installation works and site operatives.
- Oversee the removal and installation of commercial boiler systems.
- Coordinate mechanical subcontractors and engineers.
- Manage pipework, pumps, valves and associated heating services.
- Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard.
- Review and implement RAMS and maintain site safety standards.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, client and other site teams.
- Assist with testing, commissioning and final handover.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor / Mechanical Foreman.
- Strong commercial experience with boiler replacement and heating systems.
- Experience working within plant rooms / commercial buildings.
- Good knowledge of mechanical services and associated pipework.
- SSSTS / SMSTS.
- CSCS.
- Strong communication and site coordination skills.
