Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Take-off & Materials Co-Ordinator to identify, quantify, and order mechanical components required for our projects.
Working from 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications, you will produce accurate material take-offs for items such as valves, pipework, bends, fittings, flanges, and associated components. You will then coordinate material orders to ensure the correct parts are available when required.

Location: Dundalk
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm
Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience
Reporting To: Head of Sales and Manufacturing

What You'll be Doing
- Responsible for reviewing mechanical drawings, 3D models, and project specifications to accurately identify and quantify mechanical components and materials.
- Prepare detailed material take-offs, bills of quantities, and material schedules, while verifying pipe sizes, specifications, pressure classes, materials, and connection types.
- Raise purchase requisitions and orders, liaise with project teams, suppliers, and procurement.
- Monitor orders and deliveries to support project programmes.
- Check quantities against design revisions, identify discrepancies, and potential shortages.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Help minimise incorrect orders, surplus materials, and project delays.
