We're proud to be partnering with Exolum, a leading international energy infrastructure company, to recruit a Mechanical Technician to support terminal operations across Scotland and Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional with a background in COMAH or heavy industrial environments to join a business that prioritises safety, operational excellence, and employee development.

What You'll Do

  • Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance.
  • Diagnose faults and maintain critical terminal assets.
  • Support preventative maintenance programmes to maximise reliability.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and asset integrity initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Recognised mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • Mechanical maintenance experience within COMAH or heavy industry, such as oil & gas, petrochemical, fuel storage, chemical processing, power generation, or manufacturing.
  • Strong fault-finding and preventative maintenance experience.
  • Experience maintaining pumps, valves, rotating equipment, and associated plant.
  • Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and safe systems of work.
