£60,000 + Company Benefits
Monday - Friday - 8am - 4pm

We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Technician to join a growing team responsible for maintaining power generation facilities.
This is a varied role where you’ll be working on plant equipment in renewable energy environments, carrying out maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and helping improve system performance and reliability.

What you’ll be doing
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on all mechanical plant equipment in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
- Carry out reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs to minimise plant downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and identify root causes of equipment failures.
- Overhaul, repair and replace mechanical components including bearings, gearboxes, pumps, valves, conveyors and rotating equipment.
- Assist with major planned outages, shutdowns and annual maintenance activities.
- Conduct equipment inspections and condition monitoring to identify potential failures.
- Complete precision alignment, lubrication and mechanical fitting activities.
- Support commissioning, testing and reinstatement of plant following maintenance works.
