Kington St Michael, Wiltshire | £28,000–£33,000 | Full-time, site based
Want to build something that makes a difference? We’re recruiting an Assembly Technician for a growing engineering business developing hydrogen fuel cell power systems. You’ll help turn electrical and mechanical components into finished equipment designed to provide reliable power without diesel generators.
This is a hands-on role in a small team. You’ll work closely with engineers and production leads, with the chance to help improve how products are built. It could suit an experienced technician or someone who has recently completed an apprenticeship and is ready to develop their skills.

What you’ll do
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components to a high standard
- Prepare and organise parts for manufacture
- Help troubleshoot build issues and improve assembly processes
- Support the creation and updating of build instructions
- Contribute ideas that improve quality, reliability and efficiency
What you’ll bring
You’ll have a good grounding in electrical and mechanical assembly, an eye for detail and the confidence to investigate problems. You’ll enjoy practical work, take pride in getting things right and be willing to pitch in wherever the team needs you.
Experience with wiring looms, production environments, large equipment or higher voltage systems would be useful, but you don’t need to have worked with every one of these. A full UK driving licence is required. The role may also involve occasional travel to support operations overseas.

What’s on offer
- £28,000 - £33,000, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
- Paid overtime when required
- 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
- Company pension contribution matched up to 3%
