Role Purpose
To maintain the integrity of mechanical systems ensuring compliance with company and statutory requirements and in response to breakdowns. To oversee and develop a system which implements and records the completion of maintenance and inspection on plant and equipment at allocated locations

Perform other maintenance and operational tasks on COMAH Top Tier and Lower Tier storage Terminals and pipeline systems operated by BPA.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance and inspection services to maintain 98% plant availability targets within COMAH Top Tier storage Terminals and pipeline systems operated by BPA.
- Attain and maintain competency to be authorised to work on high-pressure systems transporting flammable substances within DSEAR / ATEX legal requirements and company standards.
- Complete maintenance, testing and adjustments on mechanical systems including equipment covered by the Pressure System Safety Regulations (PSSR) and critical to Process Safety Management considering COMAH Regulations.
- Attain and maintain competency as an authorised person to work on mechanical systems including responsibility to produce and implement mechanical isolations.
- Complete and supervise maintenance, fault finding and repair on all Mechanical Systems within operational sites. Systems include high-pressure pipework, high-pressure multi-stage pumps, PSSR equipment, bulk storage tanks, actuation systems, oily water separation / treatment systems, fiscal metering, level gauging, security.
- Complete fault finding on EC&I systems within competency limits including 24/7 breakdown response.
- Interact with engineering projects having an input into all stages of the project plan ensuring works are planned and completed with due regard to requirements for safety and operations.

What do we need from you?
- Someone who enjoys a varied working life and a love of the outdoors
- Experience of maintenance and fault finding on mechanical plant and equipment
- A recognised professional qualification in a relevant mechanical discipline to NVQ level 3 or equivalent standard
- Valid UK driving licence
Salary
Basic salary of £35,000 + standby allowance
