We specialize in heat transfer and pressure vessel solutions, inspection services, onsite machining, and welding solutions operating across the renewables, industrial, and oil and gas markets.

With a track record spanning over 85 years, Glacier Energy’s heat transfer and pressure vessel division has extensive experience in the design, manufacture, repair, and refurbishment of heat exchangers and pressure vessels for a wide range of clients.

Our strong history and heritage allow us to develop and deploy innovative solutions that support the energy transition. We are at the forefront of innovation and have been working with universities and clients to produce solutions that support carbon capture usage and storage, hydrogen, energy storage, and circular economy projects.

Position

We're urgently seeking a Mechanical Technician for an onsite role starting 8th September for 10 days. Ideally you'll be Aberdeen based.

  • Location: Onsite
  • Start Date: 08/09
  • Duration: 10 days (possible extension)
  • Second man required

Requirements

  • Mechanical Technician experience essential
  • Heat Exchanger Experience Preferred But Not Essential
  • Valid TMJI's are essential
  • Ideally Aberdeen-based (travel from Aberdeen covered)
