Media Account Director

Location: London

We’re looking for an experienced Media Account Director to lead client relationships and media planning across a portfolio of B2B accounts. The role is predominantly focused on digital channels, combining strategic planning, team leadership and commercial responsibility.

Job responsibilities:

  • Lead digital media strategy and planning, aligning channel mix and budgets with client objectives.
  • Own key client relationships, providing clear strategic direction and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Work with activation teams and media partners to deliver effective campaigns and inform future planning.
  • Lead and develop a team, ensuring high-quality work across accounts.
  • Oversee account budgets, forecasting and profitability.
  • Support new business pitches and introduce relevant tools and approaches, including AI.

  • At least five years’ experience in media planning and account management, predominantly across digital channels.
  • B2B marketing experience, with an understanding of business audiences and buying journeys.
  • Strong understanding of paid social, paid search and the wider digital media landscape.
  • A sharp strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into effective media plans.
  • Experience managing senior client relationships and developing a team.
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing account finances.
  • A positive, enthusiastic and client-focused approach—someone clients enjoy working with and trust to provide strong strategic direction.
