About the Job
Join the Media division at SECTR Sports Management and assume ownership of the social media presence of a portfolio of professional racing drivers competing from karting to high-series Formula racing. The role operates a flexible working pattern, including weekends at peak points of the race season.
As an Account Manager, you will hold day-to-day ownership of an assigned portfolio of driver clients, covering both the SECTR channels and the drivers' own accounts. This is a delivery-focused account role: you will plan the content, produce and edit it, publish it, and manage the community around it. Reporting to the MD, you will work within a small team with direct access to the athletes you represent, alongside the commercial team, our partners and the drivers themselves.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day management of social media accounts across an assigned client portfolio, including publication schedule, content selection and tone of voice.
- Plan and maintain a posting calendar covering every active client against an agreed minimum cadence, delivered independently and to deadline.
- Produce short-form vertical video as the primary content output for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, filmed and edited to publication standard and constructed for each platform rather than resized for it.
- Manage community engagement, including comments, replies and direct messages, maintaining the agreed tone of voice and escalating sensitive matters, particularly those concerning younger drivers, rather than addressing them independently.
- Report monthly for each client on follower growth, reach and engagement, with commentary on performance and recommended adjustments for the following period.
- Produce result graphics, quote cards, race weekend assets and sponsor-facing material using a template system that you establish and maintain.
- Establish and maintain an asset management framework covering storage, naming convention and backup, ensuring archived material remains retrievable.
- Produce material required for sponsor and partner proposals, and maintain brand consistency across the roster in line with SECTR brand standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
