Media & Campaigns Manager
Opportunity to join a highly respected membership organisation in a pivotal communications role, leading media relations and integrated campaigns that raise the profile of a nationally important sector.
Reporting to the Head of External Affairs, this role will drive proactive media engagement, develop impactful campaigns and deliver compelling content across multiple channels. Working closely with senior stakeholders, members and external partners, the Media & Campaigns Manager will play a key role in shaping public awareness and supporting strategic communications activity.
Location: London – hybrid working (50:50)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day media relations activity, managing press enquiries and building strong relationships with journalists.
- Develop and deliver integrated communication campaigns aligned to organisational priorities and sector objectives.
- Identify and secure opportunities to generate positive media coverage and elevate sector profile.
- Create engaging content across press materials, digital channels, campaigns and stakeholder communications.
- Support senior stakeholders with media activity, messaging and external communications.
- Develop content for social media channels and support digital engagement initiatives.
- Monitor media coverage, campaign performance and digital analytics, providing insight and recommendations.
- Work closely with policy, events and communications colleagues to ensure a coordinated communications approach.
- Manage sensitive issues and contribute to crisis and reactive communications activity when required.
- Build strong relationships with members, partners and external stakeholders to support campaign delivery and sector advocacy.

Skills & Experience:
- Significant experience in media relations, communications, press office or campaigns roles.
- Strong track record of securing media coverage and managing journalist relationships.
- Excellent writing and content creation skills across multiple channels and audiences.
- Experience developing and delivering integrated communications campaigns.
- Strong digital and social media knowledge, including performance monitoring and analytics.
- Confident stakeholder manager with experience advising senior leaders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within financial services, a regulated sector, membership body or trade association is desirable.
- Relevant communications qualifications such as CIPR are beneficial.
