Media and PR Manager
Are you ready to make an impact through media and PR? I’m supporting a fantastic health and care focused charity, to find their new Media and PR Manager, working on policy and issues led media work. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and creative media professional who understands how to turn the news agenda into opportunities for influence, profile and positive change, someone who is excited to work at the interface of the comms and policy teams. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the organisation is visible and vocal on the issues that matter most.
You will be speaking and meeting media contacts, getting news and stories on the news agenda, on ITV, Sunday Times, BBC, Newsnight, and enjoy a fast-paced environment. They have lots of content and data and are often being called by the media too- so this is a great opportunity!

Throughout the year, you’ll also lead the media and PR planning for flagship campaigns and high-profile influencing work.
Is this role for you?
We are looking for an ambitious media professional, with a proven track record and significant experience in a media role in the either government, NHS Trusts, charity, public, health or care sectors.
Job Details
- Position: Full-time, permanent
- Salary: £43,680
- Holiday Entitlement:
- 25 days in the first year
- Increasing to 27.5 days in the second year of service
- 30 days in the third year
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid working – 1 day per week (Wednesday) in London office (King’s Cross).
- Location: London based and can travel to central London at short notice to maximise media and PR opportunities that arise.
- Out of Hours Commitment: You will be expected to take part in the out of hours media rota on evenings and weekends – typically one week in three but might be more frequent during periods of team absence.
