Job Description

This is a new role within an expanding marketing function with one of the UK’s fastest growing OEMs. As investment in the marketing function expands, my client is looking for someone who is able to operate at a strategic level, with proven expertise in media planning, buying, budgeting and even agency management. With more products being launched this year and going into the future, this is an opportunity to join an established player, at a senior, strategic level where you can bring about actionable change. With all the change going on in the industry, this is the best time to take a step up.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual and campaign-level integrated media strategies aligned with brand objectives, product launches and commercial priorities.
  • Plan appropriate media mixes across TV, OOH, digital, social, search, programmatic and emerging platforms.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen reach, consideration, engagement and conversion.
  • Manage, optimise and provide recommendations on media budget allocation across channels, campaigns and audiences.
  • Monitor expenditure against approved budgets and ensure effective use of marketing investment, continuously optimizing media investment to improve efficiency and ROI.
  • Provide clear recommendations where media investment should be increased, reduced or reallocated.
  • Manage relationships with, review and challenge media agencies, media owners and other external partners.
  • Negotiate media packages and commercial arrangements where appropriate.
  • Monitor agency performance and ensure delivery against agreed objectives, service levels and timelines.
  • Establish appropriate measurement frameworks and KPIs for media campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign performance across reach, engagement, consideration, conversion and other relevant metrics.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the UK and European media landscape.
  • Monitor consumer behaviour, competitor media activity and emerging advertising technologies.
  • Identify new channels, platforms and media opportunities relevant to the automotive sector.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
