WHO WE ARE
December19 is The Bigger Question Agency. We believe "that'll do" won't do. We challenge briefs, interrogate assumptions, and push strategic thinking further than most agencies are willing to go. It's what's earned us a strong reputation in the industry and a host of awards, including IPA Effectiveness, Thinkbox Grand Prix and both Campaign and Sunday Times Best Places to Work.
We're a boutique agency with big ambitions: growing with our existing clients and building the kind of visibility that attracts new ones. If you're someone who asks why, pushes back, and wants to shape strategy rather than just execute it, you'll fit right in.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Are you solving the right problem? Or just the obvious one?
That's the kind of question we ask every day at December19. We're The Bigger Question Agency, and we're looking for someone who thinks the same way.
We're recruiting entry-level executives for both our planning and digital teams.
This role is entry-level in name only - from day one, you'll be right in the thick of it: supporting the delivery of strategically-led campaigns, keeping the operational engine running smoothly, and contributing to the kind of thinking that genuinely moves the needle for our clients.
You'll join either our planning or digital team, working closely with colleagues across the agency. Depending on the team you join, you'll learn the craft of media planning across channels or how digital campaigns are set up, managed and improved - developing the interrogation instinct that defines how we work.
You'll take on the admin too and you'll bring a curious mind to data: not just what the numbers say, but what they're actually telling you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

SKILLS AND ATTITUDE REQUIRED
We'll teach you the day-to-day job and will fully support you on your learning journey - what we can't teach is attitude, curiosity, and the willingness to ask why. Here's the mindset we'd like to see:
- You're into media and brands. You want to know more and understand how it all works.
- You like getting into the numbers. Interrogating the data until you find what's really going on.
- You're good with people. You listen, you collaborate, and you enjoy teamwork.
- You have a strong ability to organise and stay on top of things. Busy days and lots of moving parts aren't daunting for you.
- You like to interrogate - if something doesn't make sense, you're happy to ask why.
What We're Not Looking For
A particular degree, background or CV. We hire on merit, potential, and the ability to think. We want interrogators, not order-takers.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your day-to-day work will depend on the team you join. With support and guidance, you'll:
- In planning, support audience and competitor research, explore consumer journeys, and help turn insights into media plans across channels.
- In digital, support the set-up, monitoring and reporting of campaigns, helping the team understand what's working and where performance could improve.
- Get into campaign data and help turn the numbers into clear insights for clients and the team.
- Help prepare accurate, clear reports and presentations for clients and the team.
- Organise meetings, take clear notes, and keep status reports and campaign documents up to date.
- Work with clients, colleagues and partner agencies to keep campaigns running smoothly.
- Support client budget administration, including approvals, purchase orders and billing forecasts.
- Stay curious about clients' businesses, category news and media opportunities, sharing what you find.
- Support new business requests for information on plans, budgets and channels.
