The Team You’ll Join

The Media Planning sits at the intersection of data, creative strategy, and commercial execution across Future’s portfolio of over 200 specialist brands. Day to day, the team is responsible for mapping client briefs to our portfolio and developing customized, cross-platform media plans and strategies. We dive deep into analytics, pulling audience data using syndicated tools, integrating proprietary first-party data (1PD), and analyzing previous campaigns to ensure we deliver market-leading plans to clients.

Acting as a central planning hub, we collaborate constantly with Sales, Editorial, Events, Social, and Commercial Ops teams to ensure our proposals are both deliverable and highly effective. We are a fast-paced, supportive group driven by curiosity and a practical, positive attitude, dedicated to shaping how world-class brands connect with passionate audiences across every platform.

What you'll do

The Media Planning Manager is a 12-month fixed-term contract role reporting to the Head of Planning. This role is responsible for developing and executing cross-channel media plans that align with brand, client, and campaign objectives. The Media Planning Manager will analyze audience data, past campaign performance, and market trends to build plans and proposals across our portfolio, including magazines, websites, social platforms, events, experiential, podcasts, and video. Daily tasks include collaborating with sales, creative, client success, and partnership teams to build the best proactive and response to briefs in the market.

Minimum Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in media planning, with experience building integrated, multi-channel plans.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and build compelling arguments for the use of our brands.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and collaborate across teams.
  • Understanding of digital and social channels, and emerging trends in media consumption.
  • Experience in media, publishing, or marketing environments, ideally within a global or multi-brand organization.
  • Proficiency with media planning tools, analytics platforms, and standard office productivity software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • A helpful, can-do, positive attitude.

The expected salary for this role is £30,000

This is a hybrid role, working three days per week from our London Paddington office.
