About the role

In this role, you will be part of the retail media team focused on connecting brands with a large base of shoppers. This fast-paced role will see you manage a portfolio of clients and FMCG brands. You will be accountable for the media bookings and activating them in-store and online. You will be key in developing strategic media plans, delivering against KPIs, and contributing to wider commercial targets. You will support the Media Planning Manager and own some strategic supplier accounts.

As a Media Planning Advisor:

  • Develop proposals and strategies based on supplier budgets and objectives to create a cohesive media plan that will deliver against KPIs.
  • Liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to activate FMCG branded activity across a range of channels, including on and offsite media within agreed timelines, following creative guidelines.
  • Assist in driving sales for your categories to meet broader business objectives, while managing forecasts and reporting on performance
  • Work to ensure all content (including but not limited to media plans, status reports, performance reviews, and recommendations) is completed to a high standard, showcasing the team at its best.
  • Build positive relationships and communicate confidently with our clients, nuancing your approach with different stakeholders and ensuring you present yourself as a trusted member of the team.
  • Support wider organisational projects and the senior leadership team as requested.

About You

  • Experience of people coaching and management
  • Experience of working towards ambitious targets and strong numeracy skills
  • The ability to "embrace change", demonstrating adaptability and willingness to take on new opportunities that drive business and personal growth.
  • Great organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and strong work ethic to get stuck in and provide best-in-class marketing campaigns and client servicing.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship skills for managing key stakeholders.
