Role Description
The Media Relations Specialist is a part-time role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a hybrid working pattern that combines on-site collaboration and some work from home. In this role, the specialist will develop and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets relevant to Nebula’s technical and B2B clients. Day-to-day work includes drafting and distributing press releases, pitching stories, managing media inquiries, and coordinating interviews or commentary opportunities. The specialist will support strategic communications and public relations campaigns, align media activity with client marketing objectives, and monitor coverage to report on outcomes. The role involves working closely with internal teams and clients to ensure messaging is accurate, clear, and consistent across all media interactions.

- Strong media relations experience, including Media Relations and Public Relations skills for B2B and technical sectors.
- Ability to plan and deliver Strategic Communications that align with client positioning and broader marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in crafting and managing Press Releases, including drafting, editing, and distribution to appropriate media channels.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, media-ready narratives.
- Experience working with or within agencies or consultancies, ideally supporting technical, engineering, or professional services clients.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a part-time, hybrid environment.
- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients, and able to work independently when remote.
- Relevant education or training in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field is beneficial.
