Corporate Finance Media Relations Specialist
This remote role for a Corporate Finance Media Relations Specialist involves managing day-to-day media outreach and supporting strategic communications initiatives for private markets clients targeting trade and b2b financial press.
The Media Relations Specialist will:
- Draft, refine, and distribute press materials
- Coordinate interviews and briefings
- Maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers across industry, trade, and b2b press
The successful person will already have experience in this space and existing media contacts.

The specialist will collaborate with internal account teams and clients to align media activities with broader PR and communication strategies, ensuring consistent messaging and timely delivery. This position requires proactive planning, responsive media engagement, and strong client coordination.

Qualifications
- Strong media-focused skills, including Media Relations and Public Relations experience, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key media contacts.
- Private Markets and fintech experience targeting wealth and financial trade media.
- Proficiency in creating and managing press materials, including Press Releases and related media collateral tailored to diverse audiences and outlets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail, clarity, and consistency in messaging.
- Experience in a communications, PR, or agency environment, preferably with global or cross-sector exposure.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams and clients.
