Role Description

The Media Sales Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Ugley Green, with the flexibility to work from home for one day of the week. Part time role could be considered for the right person. This role involves selling advertising and sponsorship solutions across Target Publishing’s print, digital, and events portfolio, focusing on natural health and integrative medicine brands. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new leads, building and maintaining relationships with clients, managing existing accounts, and developing tailored media packages that meet client objectives. The Media Sales Executive will prepare proposals, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure accurate recording of activity in our systems. The role also involves collaborating with editorial, marketing, and events teams to align commercial opportunities with brand strategies and attending key industry events to network and support onsite sales activity.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in media sales, with a strong understanding of advertising across print, digital, and events.
  • Skills in new business development and lead generation, with the ability to identify opportunities and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Proficiency in account management and relationship-building, ensuring excellent client service and retention.
  • Solid sales skills, including negotiation, pipeline management, and closing deals in a target-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, both written and verbal, with confident phone and in-person interaction.
  • Comfort with basic office software, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, managing time and priorities independently.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in publishing, events, or the natural health sector is an advantage
